ReviewRouter / Public information
Privacy policy
Last updated:
This policy describes data handled by the current free ReviewRouter service and the additional processing proposed for an optional paid hosted API review service.
1. Operator and contact
An individual operates ReviewRouter under the brand QuantJumpPro; QuantJumpPro is not a registered company. For privacy questions or requests, contact quantjumppro@gmail.com. This policy covers the operator's hosted service. If you self-host ReviewRouter, your deployment operator also controls its infrastructure and data handling.
2. Account and operational data
Sign-in uses session cookies and GitHub or GitLab OAuth. Depending on the integration and permissions, account data includes provider identifiers and login, email, avatar, and workspace or organization memberships. The server stores encrypted GitHub access tokens where needed for the integration.
The service processes repository and installation identifiers and settings, workflow configuration and setup metadata, review run status and normalized findings, repository health information, audit events, and support diagnostics. Normalized findings may contain source excerpts. We do not promise that code never enters or is never stored by the service.
When Memory is enabled, it processes user-confirmed guidance and pending suggestions, their scope, and lifecycle metadata. Pending suggestions are distinct from confirmed guidance and are not active runtime memory until approved. Stored guidance is distilled text, scoped to the authorized repository, workspace, or user preferences; raw discussion threads are not Memory items. Authorized maintainers or administrators confirm shared guidance and control its scope.
Disabling or deleting Memory removes it from runtime retrieval. Deletion redacts the stored item and associated confirmed suggestion content before later maintenance pruning. Deleted Memory is excluded from Memory exports; administrative exports and related operations are access-controlled and audited.
3. Review execution and credential modes
Current review execution runs in customer-authorized CI. The selected model provider receives submitted review context, which may include code, diffs, prompts, and tool outputs. In direct credential mode, the authorized CI job or runner manages the configured provider credentials.
Account Gateway and hosted credential modes can store provider credentials encrypted on the server. These modes also relay prompts, tool outputs, model responses, and other authorized request context transiently through backend services. Credential enrollment and use require transient processing of the credential. Encryption at rest does not mean secrets never enter the SaaS.
Selected providers process the context they receive under their own terms and privacy policies. Their retention and data-use policies depend on the provider, account, and configuration. We do not give a blanket assurance about provider training use or retention. See the security model and public repository for product context.
4. Proposed paid hosted API reviews
The optional paid service is not yet available. It would receive authorized pull request diffs, relevant source, prompts, and review context on the ReviewRouter backend, then send necessary context to selected model provider APIs. The operator would pay those API costs. We will disclose the actual processing, providers, and applicable terms before paid use; the current customer-CI model is not a promise about this future service.
5. Purposes and legal bases
We process data to authenticate users, authorize repository and workspace access, configure and deliver requested reviews, display results, maintain Memory, secure and operate the service, investigate failures or abuse, and answer support emails. Support correspondence includes the information you choose to send; avoid sending credentials or unnecessary source code by email.
Where a legal basis is required, processing may rely on performing the requested service or contract, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, legal obligations, or consent where required. The applicable basis depends on the processing and jurisdiction. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on it, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
6. Cookies, local storage, and service providers
Essential authentication and security cookies support sign-in and sessions. A theme preference may be stored in your browser's localStorage. Hosting and infrastructure providers process operational data and logs, such as request metadata, IP addresses, timestamps, and error information, to run and protect the service.
Data is shared as needed with repository platforms, the model provider you select, hosting and infrastructure processors, and parties necessary to meet legal obligations or protect the service.
If Paddle billing launches, Paddle would collect payment credentials and process payments under its own Privacy policy. ReviewRouter would receive necessary billing metadata, such as customer and order identifiers, purchase status, subscription details, and billing contact information. Payment credentials would be handled by Paddle rather than collected directly by ReviewRouter.
7. Retention, deletion, and security
Data is retained as needed for the relevant service purpose, account administration, support, security, and legal obligations. Retention varies by data type and deployment. This policy does not promise a fixed deletion deadline or a single retention period for all records, logs, backups, and third-party systems.
Request account or workspace deletion at quantjumppro@gmail.com. We may need to verify your authority and explain any information retained for legal, security, or operational reasons. Disconnecting OAuth or uninstalling an integration stops the associated future access but does not automatically erase all existing records. Repository platform comments and provider-held data may require separate action with those services.
Access controls and encrypted credential storage help protect data, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Do not submit data you are not permitted to disclose to the chosen processing path.
8. International processing, rights, and changes
Depending on deployment and selected providers, data may be processed internationally. Applicable protections and transfer requirements depend on the services and jurisdictions involved; this policy does not promise a particular processing region or certification.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, obtain portable data, withdraw consent, or complain to a competent data protection authority. Contact the operator to make a request; rights may be subject to lawful exceptions and verification.
We will update this policy when data practices change and provide notice where required, including disclosing material new processing before paid hosted API reviews become available.
